Yeah, wrap your head around that. I read her well-known novel The Handmaid's Tale while attending UC Santa Cruz, and I immediately fell in love. The kid is reading The Handmaid's Tale for English. It is shocking that it took me well into my twenties to finally pick up and read Margaret Atwood's The Handmaid's Tale. And today for my feminist fans everywhere I've been reading Margaret Attwood's The Handmaid's Tale. For World Book Night, which is next Tuesday, April 23, I'm giving away The Handmaid's Tale by Margaret Atwood, so I decided to re-read it. A popular text for Higher English is The Handmaid's Tale by Margaret Atwood. Partly because the writing is skilled, partly because the issues and themes in the book were relevant in the 1980s, and still are today. It seems only natural, since I'm never met a woman who disliked this feminist dystopian tale. Genre writers based in and around Adelaide, South Australia.
